D38 communications team earns awards

The Lewis-Palmer School District 38 communications team won multiple awards at the Colorado School Public Relations Association (COSPRA) Conference June 4–6 in Breckenridge.

The D38 communications team brought home the following publications and digital media awards:

Communications Rookie of the Year to Stephanie Gonzalez, social media specialist & photographer

Award of excellence for “Report to Our Community” in the annual report category

Award of excellence for “BOE Recap E-Newsletter” in the E-newsletter category

Award of excellence for “A Heartfelt Moment: A Graduate’s Love in the Crowd” in the photography category

Award of excellence for “Panthers on the Prowl” in the photography category

Award of excellence for “Fearless and Fierce: The Faces of Female Athletes” in the photography category

Award of merit for “Community Grants Make Clear Impacts” in the writing category

Award of merit for “D38 Preschool — Come Learn With Us!” in the marketing materials category

Award of merit for “Career & Innovation Center Launch Video” in the video category

Honorable mention for “Staff Stars Campaign for Educational Support Professionals” in the social media category

Honorable mention for “LPSD38 This is Our Why” in the video category

Submissions are judged and scored by multiple school public relations professionals from across the country. To receive the highest accolade of award of excellence, the average score from all judges must be 90–100% of all possible points.
