Colorado Springs police looking for 2 suspects in Monday morning robbery
Colorado Springs police are looking for one Hispanic male and one Caucasian female suspected of robbing a convenience store early Monday morning.
The robbery happened at about 5:15 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the 300 block of South Hancock Avenue near Memorial Park, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department. An employee of the store told police the two suspects demanded money and items from the clerk, and said they were armed.
The employee said the suspects had their faces disguised with white and yellow face paint.
The suspects drove off in a tan or gold minivan with money and merchandise. Police did not say how much was taken from the business.
No one was injured in the robbery.
