A story Sunday about multiresort ski-lift passes and crowding should have said former Vail Mayor Dick Cleveland advocated for an increase in the lift tax. The lift tax already existed. The story also should have said the late entertainer Sonny Bono was a California congressman at the time of his death in 1998. His widow, Mary Bono, won a special election to replace him in Congress.
