A shelter-in-place order was issued for an area just east of South Nevada Avenue for police activity Monday afternoon, according to Peak Alerts.
At 2:11 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department asked residents in the area of 2039 Southgate Road to shelter in place for police activity related to a search warrant.
“You are asked to stay indoors; please lock and stay away from windows and doors. Please stay out of the immediate area until further notice,” the alert said.
Just before 3:30 p.m., a Peak Alert was sent out giving an all-clear message to those in the area, notifying them the shelter-in-place had been lifted.
