UPDATE: Cyrena Frates has been safely located.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is searching for 15-year-old Cyrena Frates, who was reported missing by the agency on Sunday afternoon.

Frates is 5-foot-4 and weighs about 160 pounds, has brown hair, and was last seen wearing black leggings, a blue zip-up jacket and a black crop top. Police say it is believed Frates is staying with friends or others she knows.

Frates was last seen around the 1700 block of West Boulder Street in the western Colorado Springs on Friday, according to police.
