2 dead, 1 injured in shooting in east Colorado Springs, police say
Two people were killed and another person was wounded in a shooting in southeast Colorado Springs Saturday, according to police.
Officers responded to a 10 p.m. call about a shooting at a residence in the 4100 block of Apollo Village Circle, near Airport Road and South Academy Boulevard, officials said.
When they arrived, they found a man and a woman, both dead from gunshot wounds. Another woman, suffering from a gunshot wound, was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Everyone involved in the deadly incident has been accounted for, police said. A homicide investigation is ongoing.
