The Colorado State Patrol reopened U.S. 24 near Falcon shortly after 11 a.m. following a crash between two vehicles around 8 a.m. Monday.

Two people were taken by ambulance to the hospital for serious bodily injuries after a crash between a Kia Forte and a Mazda 6 on U.S. 24 near Garrett Road, Trooper Sherri Mendez said.

The CoTrip map showed that U.S. 24 was closed in both directions after the crash.
