A domestic disturbance left one person injured and another unaccounted for Sunday in the northwest part of the city, Colorado Springs police said in an online blotter entry.

At about 4:15 p.m., police received a report about a disturbance at the 5800 block of Walsh Point in the Rockrimmon area. When police arrived they saw a fresh blood trail leading to an apartment and forced entry after there was no answer from anyone inside. When they got inside they found a male bleeding heavily and he was treated.

The male, Troy Barrington, was found to be in violation of a protection order, police said, barring him from being at that residence. Barrington was arrested.

“The female half of the incident fled the scene prior to police arrival and has not been located or contacted,” the blotter entry stated.
