Manitou graffiti vandals still at large after more than $20,000 in damage, police ask for public’s help

Graffiti vandals continue to be a problem in Manitou Springs, racking up over $20,000 in damages to public and private property, according to the Manitou Springs Police Department.

The damage is also posing safety concerns by covering up traffic signs, putting drivers and pedestrians at risk.

The vandals have not been found and police are asking for the public’s help identifying them. Investigators suggest Manitou residents check personal security cameras, including doorbell cameras, for any relevant footage. They’re also asking the public to take pictures of any graffiti they see and send them to the police.
