Pedestrian hospitalized after hit-and-run in northern Colorado Springs: Police

2 juveniles arrested in connection to Wednesday shooting on southeast side

A pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a hit-and-run Saturday night in the northern part of the city, Colorado Springs police said in an online blotter entry.

The pedestrian was found around 10:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Woodmen Road, between North Academy Boulevard and Interstate 25, lying in the roadway.

The vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene before officers arrived, police said. The Major Crash Team is investigating the crash.
