1 injured in shooting in east Colorado Springs; suspects sought
Colorado Springs police are looking for suspects in a shooting that left one person wounded early Sunday, according to an online blotter entry.
Officers responded to a 12:20 a.m. call about a shooting in the 4300 block of Airport Road in east Colorado Springs, police said. When they arrived, they found a single victim, inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Investigators determined that the shooting took place at an apparent car meet in the 800 block of Aeroplaza Drive, near the Colorado Springs Airport, officials said. Several shell casings were found in the area.
No suspects had been identified as of Sunday morning.
