A business in the northwestern part of the city was struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon, leaving behind a smashed storefront.

Just before 1 p.m., the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a vehicle vs building crash on Montebello Square Drive, near Austin Bluffs Open Space.

In photos shared by personnel at the scene, the rear end of the car appeared to be halfway lodged into the business.

All parties were evaluated and the fire department confirmed there were no injuries to anyone in the car or store.

The structure was cleared by the department before it was turned back over to the business owner.
