The Colorado Springs Police Department’s homicide unit is investigating a fatal shooting that happened Friday on the city’s west side.

Police responded to a home in the 2500 block of Royalty Court, near West 25th and King streets around 6 p.m.

Officers arrived to find a deceased man who had at least one gunshot wound, according to a report.

The investigation is ongoing, and “all parties are accounted for at this time,” police said.
