One person was transported to the hospital for injuries Friday evening after a shooting in a Woodland Park grocery store parking lot.

Woodland Park police said in a Facebook post at 6:44 p.m. that they responded to a reported shooting at City Market near Highway 24 and Midland Avenue. A “single adult victim” was taken to the hospital for unspecified injuries related to the shooting, police said. A suspect “is on scene and being detained.”

There are no other suspects.

Woodland Park police said there is no further information at this time.
