Two cell phone shops in southern Colorado Springs were burglarized early Friday morning.

Colorado Springs police responded to separate burglar alarms for the businesses, both located on South Academy Boulevard around 5 a.m. 

According to the CSPD police blotter, one business is on the 2700 block of South Academy while the other is on the 500 block and roughly within 20 minutes of each other. 

Both businesses suffered broken windows and stolen items. 

Because of the timing and suspect descriptions of both burglaries, police believed them to be related. No arrests have been made.
