Safe Place for Pets, 808 Village Center Drive, 80919

Hi I’m Muffin. I arrived at Safe Place a couple weeks ago when my owner was moved to assisted living. Sadly, I wasn’t able to go with her.

I’m a 13-year-old spayed, long-haired Calico. I’ve been getting brushed by the nice folks at Safe Place and my fur is smooth with beautiful markings. Initially, I was scared and hid under my blanket but Safe Place gave me time and I’ve blossomed into a friendly, affectionate girl. I’ve had two recent vet exams and need to lose a few pounds but otherwise I’m a healthy girl. I like being brushed, playing with the laser pointer and getting lots of pets. I’m not crazy about other cats, and I’ve not been around dogs. I would do best in a home without them.

Since I’ve spent most of my life with a senior human, I would be great with another senior or a single person. I’ll be fine while you’re away at work with a window to look out, but ready for pets when you arrive home. My $100 adoption donation includes FVRCP, Rabies, a microchip in case I get lost, a FeLV/FIV and Heartworm tests and vet exams to ensure I’m in good shape. I also come with my very own brush to keep my beautiful fur beautiful, a new collar, and a starter bag of food. Visit www.safeplacepets.org
