Police investigate bank robbery near North Union Boulevard in Colorado Springs Monday
Colorado Springs police are looking for a person suspected of robbing a bank on the city’s east side on Monday.
Officers responded to an 11 a.m. call about a bank robbery in the 5200 block of North Academy Boulevard, near North Union Boulevard, department officials said.
Witnesses told police that a single male walked into the bank, demanded money, and left on foot with “an undisclosed amount” of cash, according to a blotter entry.
No suspect description was given, and police did not say whether the suspect was armed.
