1 shot during ‘disturbance’ on North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs police say
Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that left one person wounded on Sunday, law enforcement officials said.
Officers responded to an 11:20 p.m. call about a disturbance that escalated to gunfire in the 3900 block of North Nevada Avenue, south of Austin Bluffs Parkway and east of Mark Dabling Boulevard. Emergency responders took the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Police did not release the victim’s name, gender or condition.
No arrests were announced in connection with the shooting, but Colorado Springs Police Department officials said the department has been in contact with all involved parties.
