Power outage impacts hundreds of customers in Teller county
Hundreds of CORE Electric Cooperative customers across multiple counties in Colorado were without power Tuesday afternoon.
The outage is currently impacting a little over 500 in Teller County as of 2 p.m.
At its peak Tuesday afternoon, the outage affected more than 4,500 customers across six counties, including hundreds in El Paso County.
Amber King, the communications manager for CORE, told the Gazette the outage is unrelated to the ongoing wildfire in Teller County.
Crews are actively working on line repairs and estimate power being back on between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
