Colorado Springs weather: Mostly sunny and warm Sunday
After a warm week ahead, temperatures could dip into the 30s overnight on Friday
A sunny, warm Sunday is on tap for Colorado Springs, weather forecasters said.
Temperatures were expected to reach 75 degrees for a high Sunday under mostly sunny skies, according to meteorologists with the National Weather Service in Pueblo.
Forecasters said there could be some slight winds of 5 to 10 mph Sunday afternoon.
Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with the low dropping to about 44 degrees with light winds, forecasters said.
Temperatures were expected to climb back into the 80s on Monday for Columbus Day, with a high forecast to reach 83 degrees, the weather service said.
The warmer weather pattern is expected to continue until Friday night, when temperatures could dip into the 30s overnight into Saturday morning.
