The Colorado Springs Police Department recovered six vehicles and a trailer through a Beat Auto Theft Through Law Enforcement deployment Thursday.

Members of the department and the Colorado State Patrol conducted the operation in Colorado Springs and El Paso County. As a result of these vehicle recoveries, three individuals were charged with a pattern crime of motor vehicle theft and other felony offenses.

Police said due to the suspects being known to be armed with firearms, tactical officers were called in to arrest of these individuals in the area of North Union Boulevard and East Fillmore Street.
