Stolen motorcycle, drugs seized in Colorado Springs traffic stop

A stolen motorcycle, drugs and thousands of dollars in cash were seized during a Thursday evening traffic stop, Colorado Springs police said.

At about 6 p.m., officers stopped Michael Sandoval, who was riding a motorcycle on the sidewalk in the 3600 block of North Carefree Circle. They discovered that the motorcycle had been reported stolen in August .

In addition to recovering the stolen motorcycle, officers seized nearly three grams of cocaine, over 13 grams of methamphetamine, more than 24 grams of fentanyl, over $3,100 in cash, and numerous items of paraphernalia associated with narcotics distribution.
