A man found dead in Fountain Creek after apparently drowning earlier this month has been identified, according to Manitou Springs police. 

Lorenzo Tsosie, 60, of Colorado Springs, was found dead on Aug. 3, just after 6 a.m., after officers responded to a call for service regarding an unconscious person in Fountain Creek behind the Subway on Manitou Avenue. 

Tsosie’s next of kin has been notified;  his death remains under investigation.

At this time, no further details are available, according to law enforcement.
