Coloradans in the Games: Thursday’s results and Friday’s lookahead for those with state ties in the Paris Olympics

Paris Olympics 3x3 Basketball

Thursday’s news

Canyon Berry (Colorado Springs) competes as the lone Colorado resident for the men’s 3-on-3 team following an injury to teammate Jimmer Fredette (Denver.)

The men fell to 0-4 in pool play after a 21-19 defeat against Latvia and a 20-18 loss to Lithuania.

Now, the U.S. faces elimination and will play France (12:35 p.m. MDT). It needs the victory to remain alive.

In a 60-man golf field, Wyndham Clark (Denver) finished his opening day 56th and shot a 75 to open his Olympics.

Clark opened with a bogey, double bogey and bogey. He struggled to recover from the poor start.
