Suspect arrested for connection in 2 armed robberies in Colorado Springs
Police arrested a man on Tuesday who is suspected to be involved in two armed robberies in Colorado Springs.
36-year-old Ryley Johnson was arrested for allegedly robbing two separate businesses in the past few months, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Police initially connected Johnson to a robbery from June 26 where the suspect displayed a handgun and took money from a business in the 1900 block of S. Chelton Road.
After securing a search warrant at a residence in the 3600 block of Darkwood Place, police found clothing items from the first robbery but also from another armed robbery that happened on March 26 in the 3700 block of Verde Drive.
Johnson was arrested at the residence.
