The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a call for assistance involving trapped parties Tuesday afternoon.

A little after 1 p.m., the CSFD E13 responded to a call for service on Old Stage Road. Upon arrival on scene, crews located a truck 75 feet down an embankment. 

According to a social media post by CSFD after the incident, the occupants of the truck were not trapped, but did need assistance getting back up the hill to safety.

A rope system was set up by E13 to bring the occupants up the hill safely. CSFD reported that there were three people in the truck. Two were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
