2 injured in shooting in east Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that left two motorists wounded on Saturday, according to law enforcement officials.
The shooting took place at about 1:45 p.m. near North Academy Boulevard and East Platte Avenue, police said. Two vehicles were reportedly moving when the occupant on one car began firing at the other.
As officers responded to the emergency call, two victims arrived at a local hospital. Both had gunshot wounds, but they are expected to recover, police said. No additional victim or suspect information was given.
