Street food fairs will return to downtown next month when the city and the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum kick off this summer’s season of Food Truck Tuesdays on June 4. 

The weekly event will feature a rotating array of 20 mobile business parked along the perimeter of the museum grounds, offering a variety of meals, snacks and desserts from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Tuesday through Aug. 20, according to a news release from the city. 

“Throughout the HVAC Renovation and Building Restoration project, we wanted to maintain a presence with the Colorado Springs community,” said Matt Mayberry, director at the Pioneers Museum, where renovation work continues on the several-month project. 

The museum is located at 215 S. Tejon St.
