Elephant Rock temp advisory committee created
The Town of Palmer Lake Board of Trustees approved the creation of a temporary Elephant Rock Advisory Committee during its regular meeting April 11 at town hall in Palmer Lake.
The resolution which established the committee calls for it to have 10 members including representation from the town’s Planning Commission, Economic Development, Parks and Trails, Arts Commission and citizens at large.
Planning commissioner Susan Minor, who presented aspects of the new committee to the board, said the committee would be subdivided into small teams to perform data review in the variety of facets which make up the development of the town’s Elephant Rock property as a whole.
The advisory committee would not be making decisions towards the property itself but rather presenting information, data and data analysis to the trustees for the board to make any final decisions.
