Victim identified in Colorado Springs lounge shooting
A victim has been identified after the deadly parking lot shooting outside of a Colorado Springs bar over the weekend.
According to a Colorado Springs Police Department news release, officers received reports at 12:35 a.m. Saturday of multiple people shooting at each other in the parking lot of Luxe Daiquiri Lounge at 2945 Galley Road.

Officials Saturday morning said two people had been brought to the hospital with life-threatening injuries by “other patrons of the lounge.” One person had died.
Also, police later learned of a third victim from the incident who was treated at the hospital Saturday.
On Monday, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 22-year-old Jahiddi Williams from Colorado Springs. Although the exact manner of death is still to be determined by the coroner, Williams’ death is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, police said there were no shooting suspects in custody.
“Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of this incident, including the development of potential suspect information,” according to the police news release.
Williams’ death marks the ninth homicide in Colorado Springs of 2024. At the same time last year, there were five homicides.
