Each performance features almost two dozen Chinese dances that portray cultural legends from different regions and dynasties, including pieces about Tang court ladies, the battlefield machinations of generals, philosophical works by Lao-Tzu, and dances from Mongolia and Tibet. March is Women’s History Month and to celebrate the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College will show off a selection of works by women artists in its Agents of Care gallery. The 1,500 square feet gallery was created to highlight the often unseen, behind-the-scenes collections-based work of the museum. The professional U.S. basketball team plays exhibition games around the globe and entertaining fans with their impressive tricks and skills and goofy antics. The original group got together in 1970 after working on a Roy Orbison recording session and has released 15 albums since then.
