A few classic rockers are headed our way this summer.

Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top will bring “The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour” to Sunset Amphitheater on Sept. 28. Rock band The Outlaws will open the show.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Call 888-929-7849 or go online to axs.com or sunsetamphitheater.live.

Grammy Award-winning Christian artist announced in Colorado Springs amphitheater lineup

ZZ Top, easily recognizable thanks to the diligent cultivation of facial hair, dropped their album, “Tres Hombres,” in 1973 and caught fire thanks to their hit “La Grange.” Other hits through the years include “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Legs,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’” and “Tush.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd also climbed to fame in the ’70s, with Southern rock hits including “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Simple Man” and “What’s Your Name.”

The Aug. 9-10 shows are sold out.
