Isaiah Stevens can’t stop making history.
While Colorado State’s star point guard already etched his name all over the Rams’ record book, he’s now established Mountain West history.
Stevens was named first team all-conference Tuesday, becoming the first player named all-Mountain West five times.

It’s the second straight season Stevens has been honored as one of the conference’s five best players after two straight years on the conference’s season team.
In his first season at CSU in 2019-20, Stevens was honorable mention all-Mountain West and was the conference’s freshman of the year.
The Allen, Texas, native is averaging 16.9 points per game and a career-high 7 assists with 1.3 steals per game. He currently ranks fourth in the conference in scoring and first in assists.
Stevens is also having the best shooting season of his Rams career with a career-best 49.1% field goal percentage and 45.7% on 3-pointers.
A candidate for conference player of the year, Stevens was beat out by Utah State’s Great Osobor, who was also named newcomer of the year after leading the Aggies to the regular-season title.
Stevens was joined in the Mountain West’s postseason awards by teammate Nique Clifford, who was named third team all-conference in his first season in Fort Collins after transferring in from Tad Boyle’s CU Buffs last summer.

The Colorado Springs native and former Vanguard standout is averaging a career-high 12.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Rams. He’s also having by far the best shooting season of his career at 53.6% from the field, 40.2% from 3-point range and 78.6% from the free throw line.
