Reception to honor foundation’s first full-time leader | NONPROFIT REGISTER
URBAN LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION COLORADO

News: For the first time in its 17-year history, the Urban Leadership Foundation Colorado has a full-time president and chief executive officer: Ryan Ross.
He will be honored March 9 at a 4 p.m. reception held at Cableland, 4150 E. Shangri-La Dr. The event, which is sold out, is being hosted by former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb; Dwinita Mosby Tyler, president of The Equity Project; and Morris Price Jr., vice president of grants at the Colorado Trust.
Ross, whose work history includes serving as associate vice chancellor of student affairs, equity and inclusion for the Colorado Community College System, has been associated with the ULFC since its inception, having been a ULFC Fellow in the Class of 2008.
Ross earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University; a master’s degree from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Denver. He was the 2016 9News Leader of the Year and has been recognized as one of the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.
In addition to welcoming Ross to his full-time role, the reception also is the occasion to introduce the 28 members of the ULFC’s 2024 Fellows cohort.
