Vandals caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to mailboxes, homes and vehicles in the Pueblo West area over the weekend. The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that it continues to investigate the string of vandalism.

The damage occurred along several streets in neighborhoods south of U.S. Highway 50, and was discovered by dismayed homeowners on the morning of Feb. 10, according to the Pueblo sheriff’s office. The damage included numerous mailboxes and rocks were thrown through windows of several vehicles. The sprinkling system at Pueblo West High School was damaged, as were vehicles in the school’s parking lot.

No suspects have been identified. The sheriff’s office is asking that anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any security video of any of the acts of vandalism to contact investigators at 719-583-6250.
