Colorado Springs Weather: Mild week ahead with possible snow at the weekend

Weather in the Colorado Springs area is expected to be sunny with a high near 35 according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

A north-northwest wind will be present today around 5 mph, becoming calm in the afternoon.  

Light snow showers are expected to continue until around 9 a.m. over the far eastern plains.

Less than an inch is expected over the plains. Another inch is possible over the higher elevations. Roads will be slippery in the morning, then slushy as the snow begins to melt, but conditions should improve after that.

Monday:  Sunny, with a high near 46. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Tuesday:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 47. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.

Thursday:  Sunny, with a high near 50. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. West southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 45. South wind around 10 mph.
