Weather cooperating, a perfect way to spend a winter day, Winter Fun at Fox Run Nature Center is absolutely packed with family activities, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. A reception for the opening of the new retrospective exhibit of paintings, portraiture and small sculptures by the late Clarence Shivers is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College, 30 W. Dale St. Works span several decades of work by the career military Tuskegee Airman. The reception is open to the community.
