Colorado Springs dog rescued by fire department after getting stuck in rocky terrain

A dog was reunited with his family after getting stuck in rocky terrain in northeast Colorado Springs.

Just before 11 a.m. on Monday, the Colorado Springs Fire Department announced on X that crews had rescued a dog named Milo after he slid down snowy rocks.

Crews were called to Widgeon Point in the Sunset Mesa neighborhood where Milo got stuck in rough, rocky terrain behind some homes in the area, according to CSFD public information officer Ashley Franco.

The lucky German shepherd was able to walk away without any injuries and is back with his family.
