MeadowGrass announces music lineup for Memorial Day weekend festival

Only a few more months remain until Memorial Day weekend and the return of MeadowGrass Music Festival.

The three-day celebration of folk, Americana, bluegrass, rock, country and more is back for its 15th year. Headliners are The Steel Wheels, an Americana, roots, folk and rock band from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia; longtime Portland, Ore.-based country, folk and rock band Blitzen Trapper; and the Portland-based singer-songwriter John Craigie.

Tickets are on sale for the May 24-26 festival at La Foret Conference and Retreat Center in Black Forest. Admission is $74-$204 for adults and free for ages 12 and younger. Camping is available. Go to eventbrite.com or rockymountainhighway.org.

May 26: School of Rock (musicians studying at School of Rock), Patchwork Jack (Western folk), Graham Good & The Painters (funk rock), Carolina Story (country, folk), Jacob Jolliff Band (bluegrass), Michaela Anne (country, pop, rock), John Craigie & Friends (singer songwriter), A Carpenter’s Daughter (mountain folk rock, Americana)
