Suspects arrested on suspicion of 2 bank robberies in Colorado Springs
Two suspects were arrested Monday afternoon after two alleged bank robberies on North Academy Boulevard and Hartsel Drive.
Police say the first robbery occurred at a bank in the 5700 block of North Academy around 9:50 a.m. and involved two suspects.
The second occurred around 10:20 a.m. in the 3600 block of Hartsel Drive, where two suspects were taken into custody.
A police spokesperson said that the two robberies were likely related.
Police had not released the names of the two people arrested, as of 2 p.m. on Monday.
