Colorado Springs Weather: Warmer temperatures on the way this week
Weather in the Colorado Springs area is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high near 54 according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.
A west-northwest wind will be present today around 5 mph becoming calm later in the day.
Snow will develop along the Continental Divide Sunday morning and continue through much of the day, then taper off to occasional snow showers overnight. The heaviest snowfall today will be over the eastern San Juan Mountains, including Wolf Creek Pass, where 3 to 6 inches of accumulation is possible. Locations farther north in the La Garita and Sawatch Ranges, will see lesser amounts of 1 to 4 inches. Overnight, spotty amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible over the higher peaks, mainly south of Monarch Pass.
More snowfall will come to the mountains starting on Monday. The heaviest snow accumulations will be over the higher mountain peaks, mostly falling Monday afternoon. Light snowfall will occur on and off through the end of the week across the Continental Divide.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. West northwest wind around 10 mph becoming southwest in the morning.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 45. West wind around 10 mph.
