Hello there, my name is Bessie … like a cow, get it? I’m 8 years old, and I’ve got cute little black and white markings, but I haven’t tried mooing yet!

My mom brought me to Safe Place in April because she needed to move into assisted living and couldn’t keep me. That made me really sad, so I’ve been very shy even around the nice people at Safe Place and my foster mom. But, over the past few months with my foster I’ve really been coming out of my shell and being brave- I love following him around the house! I would love a new home where I can be comfortable, with lots of nice hiding spots when I get overwhelmed. It might take me a long time to overcome my shyness, but once I do I’ll be your best friend.
