Driver caught driving at speeds over 100 mph along Colorado 94
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to slow down after catching one motorist traveling at excessive speeds along Colorado 94 Wednesday evening.
One sergeant stopped a driver just before 9 p.m. traveling at 107 mph, according to a social media post. The posted speed limit in the area is marked at 65 mph, officials said.
Sheriff’s spokesman Marcus Miller said the driver was issued a summons to court after being stopped and could be facing up to four traffic violations including reckless driving and speeding over 40 mph.
