Pueblo County officials seek help identifying body found in Arkansas River
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man whose body was discovered along the Arkansas River in late November, according to sheriff’s office officials.
According to officials, the body was discovered on Nov. 21 by a man walking his dog along the river bank, east of the Pueblo city limits.
Officials believe the man was approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and had a short black beard and hair.
The body was discovered fully clothed wearing a Michael Kors button-up shirt, size 10 work boots, 36×32 Levi brand jeans, and Levi brand underwear, with no identification on him. His body is believed to have been there for multiple weeks, officials said.
According to the announcement, fingerprints were obtained with no match in the database, and DNA testing is in progress.
