1 injured in weekend shooting in east Colorado Springs, police say
Colorado Springs police are seeking information on a weekend shooting that left one person wounded, officials said.
Officers responded to a 7 a.m. phone call about a shooting victim arriving at a local hospital. The victim was not in suitable condition to tell police where the shooting occurred.
Investigators concluded that the victim was shot during a possible robbery in the 1500 block of Newcastle Street west of Union Boulevard.
Police did not release the victim’s name or condition.
