Rolling Stones announce Denver concert date for 2024

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will play at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on June 20, 2024

Well, that explains the big Rolling Stones banner that was unfurled at Empower Field last week.

The iconic band on Tuesday announced Denver will be one of 16 stops on its 2024 North America Tour across the United States and Canada.

The Rolling Stones will play at Empower Field at Mile High on June 20, 2024. Tickets go on presale Nov. 29 at noon and fans can register before 10 a.m. Nov. 28 for a presale code.

Tickets to see Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood go on sale to the general public on Dec. 1.

The Empower Field concert will come 62 years after the band debuted in 1962, a testament to the group’s legacy. And it should come as no surprise the tour is sponsored by AARP.

“Fans can expect to experience Mick, Keith and Ronnie play their most popular hits ranging from “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Satisfaction” and more, as well as fan favorite deep cuts and music from their new album Hackney Diamonds,” the band said in a post on its website.

The Rolling Stones last performed in Denver on Aug. 10, 2019 at Bronco Stadium at Mile High  as part of their “No Filter” tour.
