7 restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner around Colorado Springs

Let’s face it: We’re not all masters when it comes to cooking up turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy. 

Maybe you’ve scorched a turkey before, or was the one pointed at when things went awry in the kitchen last Thanksgiving.

Maybe you want to avoid an insurmountable pile of dishes, or the grocery store crowds.  

Whatever the reason may be, if you want to leave turkey dinner to the professionals this holiday, the following places have dine in, take out, and/or heat and eat options. 


ViewHouse 

Location: 7114 Campus Drive

This Thanksgiving ViewHouse will be offering a Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations are recommended. In addition, ViewHouse has Pre-Order Thanksgiving Family Packs available for pick up starting Nov. 22. These serve four people and include four sides.


The Famous Steak House

Location: 31 North Tejon Street

A Thanksgiving feast awaits at The Famous on Nov. 23 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Featured dishes include Slow Roasted Red Bird Turkey and Andouille Sausage Rosemary Sourdough Stuffing will be available. Reservations are recommended.


Till Neighborhood Bistro & Bar

Location: 616 South Tejon Street

Join Till Neighborhood in downtown Colorado Springs for a Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 23 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. They are offering a four-course meal with options including smoked turkey, glazed ham and prime rib. A wine pairing selection will also be available as an add-on. Reservations are recommended.


Mimi’s Bistro and Bakery

Location: 7133 N Academy Blvd.

Pick up a cold holiday take home feast and warm it up in the comfort of your own home. The meals serve up to 10 people and include ham, turkey, or both, and as well as sides including sweet potatoes, buttered cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole and more. Thanksgiving pickup is from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Check out the menu and place an order here.


Wines of Colorado

Location: 8045 Highway 24, Cascade

Wines of Colorado just outside of Colorado Springs will offer a special Thanksgiving menu consisting of your choice of Roasted Turkey or Maple Bourbon Ham. A plethora of side dishes including corn casserole, cranberry chutney and homemade stuffing will also be available. Finish it off with pumpkin pie or apple cobbler. Reservations are highly recommended, and they will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.


Cracker Barrel

Location: 8355 Razorback Drive

This Thanksgiving the Cracker Barrel location in Colorado Springs will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in. Customers can expect Thanksgiving favorites on the menu including a Homestyle Turkey n’ Dressing Meal, Chicken n’ Dumplins and a Country Vegetable Plate. Also available are Heat n’ Serve meals for pick-up between Nov. 18 and Nov. 25 for most Thanksgiving food options. Check here for more details.


Springs Orleans

Location: 123 East Pikes Peak Avenue

It isn’t too late to make a reservation at Springs Orleans on Thanksgiving Day where they will be offering staple dishes like a turkey carving station and mashed potatoes but also southern delicacies like chicken sausage gumbo and Cajun ceviche. Reservations are highly recommended and they are open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for this all-you-can-eat offering. 


Other restaurants that will be open and serving traditional Thanksgiving food on Thursday (for dine in or take out) include Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Black-eyed PeaGolden Corral and Perkins.
