Colorado Springs weather: Dry, sunny Veterans Day, mostly 60s later this week
A dry, sunny and warm trend is underway this weekend in Colorado Springs, according to Gazette news partner KOAA.
Mostly clear skies with temperatures into the upper 50s and light winds are expected throughout the day Saturday, making it ideal for Veterans Day activities.
A great Veterans Day Saturday is ahead for Southern Colorado with crystal clear skies.
“If your plans take you out of the Pikes Peak Region today though, you may notice a few patchy clouds in the southern and northern mountain regions of the state, while the center remains clear,” KOAA meteorologist Casey Dorn said.
Highs in the Pikes Peak Region are forecast to turn above average starting today, when the average high in Colorado Springs is 55 this time of year, according to Dorn.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 59.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 60.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.
