Hallow-Palooza this weekend in Woodland Park
It’s Halloween season in Woodland Park, and that means the coming of Hallo-Palooza.
The City of Woodland Park, Parks and Recreation department, invites the entire community to join in the spook-tacular festivities. The Pumpkin Dive was this past Saturday, but three more events promise to be thrilling and memorable celebrations.
Hallow-Palooza is a Woodland Park, Parks & Recreation Department event, and includes the Ute Pass Cultural Center, and Woodland Aquatic Center, bringing the Woodland Park community an array of Halloween-inspired activities and fun-filled experiences for all ages.
Trick or Treat in Memorial Park
– Date: Friday, Oct. 27
– Time: 3:30 — 5 p.m.
– Location: Memorial Park (200 N Park St)
– Age and cost: All ages and free
Join us for a delightful stroll through Memorial Park, where you can collect candy from various local businesses while enjoying fun activities. Wear your best costume and get ready for a sugar-filled adventure!

Costume Cornhole Tournament
– Date: Friday, Oct. 27
– Time: 6 p.m.
– Location: Ute Pass Cultural Center (210 E Midland Ave)
– Age: 18+
– Cost: $75 and it includes at least 2 cornhole games, 2 drink tickets, and a set of 4 custom cornhole bags.
– Doors open at 5 p.m. — team check in, warm up, food truck and bar will be open. Costume Contest around 7 p.m. Prizes and Trophies given out by 9 p.m.
1st Place = $400, 2nd Place = $200, 3rd Place = $100, Partner Costume Contest = $50, Individual Costume Contest = $50
Teams are limited to two players. There will be one referee enforcing American Cornhole Association official rules.
Bark in the Park
– Date: Saturday, Oct. 28
– Time: 1-3 p.m.
– Location: Golden Meadows Dog Park (2000 Evergreen Heights Dr)
Bring your dogs to Golden Meadows Dog Park and enter them into contests for the best costume, tricks, and parent-pup duo. The first-place winner from each contest will receive a trophy.
