7 pumpkin patches to visit this fall in the Colorado Springs area
Pumpkin season is in full swing, but you still have plenty of time to pick your own if you haven’t yet. Here’s a list of nearby places you can visit to find your future jack-o-lantern. Most include activities along with their patches, so you can plan out a fall-filled day.
All locations close after the month of October.
Long Neck Pumpkin Farm
Location: 7595 California Drive, Colorado Springs
Entrance fee: $17, free for children under 24 months. Reservations required.
Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Sunday
This pumpkin farm comes with a variety of activities for children of all ages. They have a grain bin grill, farm animals, duck races, bowling and more.

Wishing Star Farm
Location: 24024 CO-94, Ellicott
Entrance fee: $11 online, $13 at the gate, free for children 3 and younger
Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday-Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Saturday
A few of their extra activities include a petting zoo, hay ride, barrel train ride, frisbee golf and more.

Miner’s Pumpkin Patch
Location: 225 North Gate Blvd., Colorado springs
Entrance fee: $11 online, $13 at the door, children 3 and younger are free
Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays
Along with the pumpkin patch, Miner’s Pumpkin Patch offers a vintage apple cider press, blacksmith presentations, food trucks, cornhole and more.

Colorado Pumpkin Patch
Location: 18065 Saddlewood Road, Monument
Entrance fee: $18 mid-season, $12 late-season
Hours: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays-Sundays
Their other activities include human foosball, tube swings, laser tag, pony rides and more.

Fall Mountain Farm
Location: 16300 Mt. Herman Lane, Monument
Entrance fee: Tickets range from $9 to $20
Hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday (Closed Oct. 7)
Some of their unique activities include ani-mail letter kits, a scavenger hunt and animal feeding.

October Pumpkin Fest at Venetucci Farm

Their extra activities include a fall farm store, a craft fair on Saturday and Sundays, alpacas and more.

Smith Farms

Entrance fee: Free
Hours: Oct. 21 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is a one-day pumpkin event with proceeds benefitting The Springs Rescue Mission. Along with pumpkins, there will be a corn pool, hay rides, giant jumping pillow and more.
